Environmental policy

Hydal AS’s environmental work is based on laws and regulations being followed, and if possible, exceeded. We safeguard the internal and external environment by performing our work in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, rules and orders and the requirements we set for ourselves through our quality and HSE system.

Our environmental policy is an integral part of our quality system and is thus a responsibility that everyone, managers and employees must ensure that is complied with, maintained and improved.

Our goal means that we constantly work to minimise our impact on the environment.

• We will not have any discharges of chemicals to air or water. All chemicals and liquids not used in production are recycled and reused or delivered to approved reception.
• All metal not used in production is recycled.
• We are constantly working to reduce energy consumption both in production and in our office through efficient control of ventilation, light and heating.
