to painting
For us, quality and flexibility are of the highest priority – from first sheet metal to painting and delivery. Our products are specially adapted to harsh environments and to fit your application perfectly. We manufacture aluminium cabinets made of stainless steel material, painted in the colour code you want and accessories and thermal management for all conditions.
Hydal has been manufacturing cabinets in Norway for over 40 years. Cabinets in aluminium have always been our main focus, but we also produce cabinets in stainless steel. For 30 years, our double-walled cabinet ALX has been the top model. The cabinet has been protecting electronics in thousands of facilities.
Our focus is always the customer’s needs. All production is done to order. We are the board builder’s and electrician’s partner. We have a wide range, consisting of the simplest small cabinets for indoor use, indoor boards, double-walled outdoor cabinets and kiosks and cabins.
QUALITY
For the cabinets to last for decades, high quality surface treatment is required. Our surface treatment consists of pretreatment, ECLPS, and powder coating. Pretreatment is just as important as painting. We paint with polyester powder and epoxy if there are demanding conditions inside tunnels, for example.
Hydal AS was established in 1977. We are located at Karmøy in the industrial park of Hydro Aluminium, Karmøy Fabrikker.
